Can a carrier threaten you that you can not change carrier and you try they cut your service and not let any other carrier give you service phone dose not work even contacted company all they said reset I did still dose not work this is the second phone still dose not work since oct 2017 I'm disable bedridden.

A lot depends on you contract with the carrier and if you own the phone. If you try and cancel your contract before it’s up or refuse to pay a fee for switching they may not release the sim card which hold the network access information so another carrier can use it. Check with you current provider and ask them. We can only make guesses as to why. Laws may be different depending on you location.

    Something confusing in your question. However, it is an illegal practice of a carrier threatens or prevents for changing carrier as your choice. If this is happened you can complaint to Human Rights/Telecom Authority of your country, if any. Or go to local administrator to take legal steps again them.
