Google is default browser in IE 9?

I prefer Yahoo but when I change browsers in internet options and disable Google as default it gets re-enabled later, always after a restart but sometimes during an extended power -on session. Is there a way to permanently disable Google as default browser?

Since Google isn't a "browser", your question doesn't make a lot of sense as written. Google does distribute a browser named 'Chrome', but that doesn't seem to be what you're asking about since you name "IE 9" which is a browser (though a nearly obsolete one).

You're likely asking about a search engine setting, rather than a browser. Perhaps you should feel fortunate that Yahoo keeps getting reset back to Google, but there is no logic to personal preferences.

For any specific help for your problem, you'll need to include your version of Windows along with its fix level. It could also be useful if you posted your system hardware specs and possibly any AV or anti-malware you're running.

Pretty snooty answer, Raven honey. You probably don't have real answer anyway so thanks but no thanks.
