So I'm wondering - when I'm looking at images / pictures, does my machine store them anywhere? If that's a yes, where are they located? I'm wondering if I can find them at a later date.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It may store some but only for refreshing or building a web page quicker. These are most of the time a temporary file. If you clean your browser history and cookies on a regular basis the will get cleaned up as well. Other than that the only other images would be ones you said to save or download and they can go to the download folder or a specific folder if you did a “save image” or “save as”

What version of Chrome and what OS is there like Windows/ Linux/ Mac? It may store, but path varies from OS to OS. In general if it is Windows 7/8, try here: :\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache.
