Hi,
You will get a contact’s picture from Outlook 2010 and can save it with help of below steps:
  • Open MS Outlook and select Contact folder after that select specific contact
  • Now right click on the contact image and select copy option
  • After that paste this image in notes section
  • Now right click on image and select save as picture option to save image at your desire location.
If you are friendly with how to use VBA codes in MS Outlook then use this VBA code:
Sub SaveContactPhoto()

Dim itemContact As ContactItem
Dim fdrContacts As MAPIFolder
Dim colAttachments As Outlook.Items
Dim colItems As Outlook.Items

Dim fname As String

Set fdrContacts = Session.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderContacts)

On Error Resume Next

For itemCounter = 1 To fdrContacts.Items.Count

    Set itemContact = fdrContacts.Items(itemCounter)
    Set collAttachments = itemContact.Attachments

    For Each attach In collAttachments
      If attach.FileName = “ContactPicture.jpg” Then
        fname = (itemContact.FirstName & itemContact.LastName & “.jpg”)
        attach.SaveAsFile (“C:\Contact Photos\” & fname)
      End If
    Next

Next

End Sub
Note: make sure you have change the folder path in the VBA!
Thanks & Regards

    I have discovered a quick and easy way to backup Outlook contacts. Select all, copy and paste into word document. To re-install, double click the contacts and it will open into Outlook again.
