    What do you mean by freeze a column? Usually you freeze the top row(s) for viewing. You can do this from the task ribbon. If you are only looking to display certain select dates you can apply a filter or possibly do some conditional formatting. More details are needed to give a better answer.

    Assuming you did mean to lock/freeze some cells automatically for date column/ after specified date Or you wanted to freeze dynamically, then probably VBA is required for this purpose. However more clear view is required.
