Fps

Sent from my iPhone Hello I have an rtx 2080 and a core I5 and 16 gigabyte ram. Still I get barely 200fps while my friend with an rtx 2070 gets 300 FPS. I really don’t get how cause I’m supposed to get more FPS than him and he’s kinda treating me about it. If you could help me explain why or help me get more FPS or tell me what will improve my FPS the most I would be so grateful. Also if I buy another rtx 2080 can I put that in one computer and get a lot more FPS? Thank you in advice for your help🙂

What are the FPS based on? Are you running the same game at the exact same resolution options? It could also be tied to what other jobs you may have running in the background. These may be taking away the extra processing power you need to get the higher frame rate. It sounds like it's just an envy issue. If you do not notice a big difference in the video quality, I would not spend that kind of money for an upgrade. Without knowing the rest of the specs of both systems, we can only make a few guesses based on our own experience.  As for FPS keep this in mind.
Movies and films are almost exclusively projected at 24 frames per second.
