Open
Fonts in Control Panel.

Click Install
New Font
, On the File menu

In Drives,
click the drive you want.

In Folders,
double-click the folder that contains the fonts.

In List
of fonts
, click the font you want to add, and then click OK.

    Why would you need a .FOT file? .FOT files were generally for Windows 3.x, and that seems unlikely now. What "Windows" are you using? Where is the .TTF file that you want to install?

    Thank you.  I asked because all of the existing TTFs have a companion FOT.  I added the new TTFs without FOTs and they work just fine.  btw, I'm running Windows 10 and Office 2010.
