New Tweak :: Overlapping Keypresses/Extensions Now Prohibited
Previously, customers were allowed to create Keypresses in their Submenus which overlapped with the first digit of their extension range. For instance, if a customer had extensions in the range of 7000, they *were* allowed to have a Keypress of “7”. However, the side effect of this overlap was that PBXtra would have to pause for 4 seconds when a caller pressed “7” – to see if the caller was actually planning to enter a full extension, or simply wanted to go to Keypress “7”. This pause was making our software look slow (when really it was being smart). So, we have removed the ability to have overlapping of any kind. This means that if you have extensions in the 7000 and 8000 range you will now *not* be able to use Keypresses “7” and “8” *anywhere* in your Call Menu. Existing customers that have overlap can keep them, but they cannot ever add them back once they delete them from any Submenu.
