Hello everyone, I'm not very perfect in English. I hope you'll solve my problem. I have DSL Ethernet cable (IP 192.168.100.1 Doesn't support Access Restriction / Firewall) coming from my neighbor's home. I inserted that cable into my home router (IP 192.168.1.1 Support Access Restriction / Firewall) that I was using over SIM / Operator. I set some firewall setting (Wi-Fi Schedule Web Site blocking Like Facebook YouTube etc...) which are currently configured on my home router for my kids internet limits My home router's WiFi working fine on all devices but I set its Firewall setting  for my kids, that not working. I'm very upset because my kids using excess internet nowadays due to my home router's firewall/access restriction option are enabled but not blocking internet on my kids devices. More details:
  • Neighbor DSL Cable (IP 192.168.100.1 Router Doesn't support Access Restriction / Firewall).
  • My router support SIM Card but now using through my neighbor's DSL Cable: (IP 192.168.1.1 support Access Restriction / Firewall).
  • I want to Block/Limit my kids's internet activity.
Note: When I was using SIM Card in my home router that time my firewall setting was working fine I left SIM Card due to expiry and I choose DSL cable. I hope anybody got my problem and willing to help me. Thanks for your best support I'm waiting for your kind reply BR// RAZA

For this query, router make/model is required. Some routers have facility to block internet by configuring schedule time. For this configuration check if the router supports the same. Here you can find access restrictions after logging the router and check internet access policy page. Also you can check the log to see what happens with your internet.

If you are using your neighbors cable, what is his hardware set up? That may effect your set-up if there is another way you children can connect. Maybe they found a back door and have unrestricted use based on his set-up.
