When I change the color of a field in a screen (in SYNON), little white dots appear under the field. How do I get rid of this? I also noticed that when I change the color of a field depending on a condition, again, the little white dots appear under the field when color changes.
In general, you can't get rid of those 'dots' whether using Synon or anything else. They are inherent to the chosen color.
In some specific cases, though, you can get rid of them by using terminal emulation software that has it as a configuration option. It's been years since I've seen which emulators provide for that.
