False status of Available in Lotus Sametime 8.5.1

Currently running on a Windows 7 with Sametime 8.5.1. When inputting in the user id and password, it updates to available but the contact list shows as if I'm not logged in and those that are attempting to Sametime me don't show me as logged in. It's as if it's a false status of Available

    Is there more than one SameTime server in your environment?

    yes this is Verizon and they may have multiples

    I would check to see if you're logging in to SameTime on ServerA, but others are logged in to ServerB?  If that's the case, then I'd either change my server to ServerB, or investigate if ServerA and ServerB are not talking to each other.

    Thank you for the info. The teir II checked my Server and had me on Port 1533 which is the same as everyone else but I don't know if they explored the communication between the servers dedicated to sametime.
