Our enterprise is preparing an acquisition of a Solid State Array. We have already chosen that will be an All-Flash solution (no hybrid). The problem is how to escape from whats is real and what is fake news about advantages and disadvantages of choosing inline/post-processed data reduction. Our "real world" is made of lots of SQL Databases, VDI, fileservers, mailing (exchange), server and web applications, etc, and we really need fast and constant response.
So, opting for inline processing instead of post-processing is really a good thing? How post-processing really impact at flash lifespam, considering that probably the solution will be based on TLC cells?
Thank you for any help!
