Parallel port

I use a program called presentation that uses the parallel port to send out and receive triggers. It works great on all other computers we have except mine. I get the above error. The only difference is that I am using a parallel port on a laptop docking station, I have a Dell Latitude E6530 laptop. Any ideas why I am getting this error?

Have you tried to set up as of all other computers without laptop docking. If yes, what is the result then. Or try to make the same setup as you done for your computer to any one of others computer and see if it works.

Sorry, All of the other computers are working fine with their built in parallel ports, it is only the laptop I am having problems with. The only parallel port available on the laptop is via the docking station. And yes the settings are exactly the same as near as I can tell using EPC mode.
