I use a RAID 6 setup which I extended with a new disk. It initiated fine and I see it in disk management in Windows (this is a Server 2012 R2)
Here my disk shows as disk 0 with a small boot partition (not mapped) a large c: partition or volume and the new unallocated space in the end. Layout say's simple and type is basic. I want to extend the c: partition or volume but the option is grayed out. when i right click on the unallocated space i have no choice's everything is gray. I searched and found that I probably need dynamic disks but I'm not allowed to change to dynamic (doesn't show).
