Exempt specific folder in McAfee

So I recently switched antivirus providers from Kaspersky to McAfee. When I was using Kaspersky, I was able to make an exception for specific folders. I believe it was called the "Excepted Zone" setting. But in McAfee, it looks like I can only make exceptions on a file-to-file basis. Meaning that I have to go through each file one-by-one. Does anyone know if I can exempt a folder in McAfee?

What version of McAfee are you using now? Hope this is a latest version. You can manage files/folders exclusions in McAfee by using VirusScan Enterprise or wildcards. Click Start > Programs > McAfee > VirusScan Console. Now right click On-Access Scanner and then select Properties. Next click All Processes, Detection, Exclusions. In Exclusions, there are two wildcard exclusion symbols. Like Single asterisk: * and Double asterisk: **. Now select Double asterisks (**) which allows a wider folder exclusion. Next you can follow on-screen instructions to complete the settings. Keep in mind sometimes, folder exclusion settings can be found under Virus and Spyware Protection Drawer.
