Getting ready to migrate mailboxes and I'm getting stuck on the Deployment Tool RecipientDSInteg. I run the tool and I'm getting
Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector ; The disabled user is mailbox enabled and does not contain an associated external account ; the keyword 'ntdsnomatch' could not be found
I've searched MS and all I get is to run ADC tools. The ADC tools say I don't have anything to fix for Resources.
Any ideas on how to get past this step? Thanks
Hi, according to the e2kdsinteg.log the disabled user is the
Microsoft Schedule+ Free/busy Connector
I think I have to get it configured somehow so that it doesn't think it needs the ntdsnomatch.
I have a Connection Agreement set for one way from the 5.5 server to the AD. Do I have to remove that and put in a two way Connection Agreement?
Thanks
This may just be a legacy thing but you say the util is generating a log file called "e2kdsinteg.log" I am unsure of what util this is but it seems strange that it is naming it E2Kxxxxx.log; in my eyes that would make me suspicious that you are attempting to use a migration util for Exchange 2000 and not 2003. The only bits that I had to complete was to ensure that the active directory connector was setup correctly, run the pre-install checks for the exchange install (the usuall along the lines of DSDiag, etc) then use either ADUC or ESM to migrate the mailboxes to Exchange 2003.
Regarding the ADC yes therre needs to be two way replication to ensure that active directory keeps exchange 5.5 updated and vice-versa, this is also required for the migration to work.
Sorry I'm being a bit vague here as it was a long time ago when I performed the migration.
No Problem. The deployment tools I'm using are for the Exch Server 2003 and I'll bet that they have some of the same ones for 2000 incorporated in them. KB812593 has a description of them.
I'll change that connection agreement tonight and see if that gives me better responses in the log files.
