We have recently switched from Exchange 2003 on SBS 2003 to Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008. Before the switch, when we were on 2003, everytime a user would send an email with a delivery receipt it would return an email titled "Delivery Status Notification (Relay)" and this email would include the following text "This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Your message has been successfully relayed to the following recipients, but the requested delivery status notifications may not be generated by the destination." as well as an attachment that included the original sent email. Upon switching to Exchange 2007, we are no longer receiving these emails. We are getting the delivery receipt back from exchange (separate email). We have a user that relys on these emails for various reasons and is requesting we enable this functionality. Any guidance on this situtation or on how to enable these messages on Exchange 2007 would be appreciated.
