Exchange 2000 Monitoring

We have Exchange 2000 server with about 100 mailboxes. Does anyone know of a good monitoring or reporting application to monitor mail traffic usage, view activity of mail system of users, etc. I've read about Promodag and it sounds like it has alot of reporting capabilities. I was curious if there are users out there that have implemented this program. Thank you.

I use a tool call Exmon. It monitors all individual usages in terms of things like Exchage server traffic, and the tool is good I recommend it for all. Our IT policy limits the size of all user mailboxes but with that Exmon you can be able to tell that individual exchange usesage and then maybe if need be increase his/her mailsize.

    Many vendors and tools are available, however, due to simplicity sake a formidable option is MOM (Microsoft Operations Manager). The management pack for Exchange can give you many of the monitoring and reporting you are looking to get. Being that it is Microsoft the synergy of using this tool could benefit from a cost and support perspective.

    Does either exmon or MOM also help track slow messages inside of the orginazation. We have a couple of people that say they are getting emails late and they are being sent by people inside of our orginazation. thanks Jack
