How do I start career in IT industry when I have got bachelor's degree a long time back. I do not have an experience in IT but in HR. I do not have an experience in Canada where I have migrated 9 months back. There are very few females in IT industry. Where should I start. I even thought of reaching the level of Project manager but how. Please help. Can I start with cloud computing. The training in PeopleSoft or SAP is too costly. Data administrator job is 24/7 I heard, so not possible. Can I start from Business Analyst profile along with software testing? Are the languages important like SQL and JAVA along with Software testing. Please guide me.

Well, all I can say that you need to go for training in software testing, as it is the only field which is common to all IT companies. Every company has requirement of testing professionals so as to make their product or software better. Moreover, as you are seeking for good position in less time, you have to have strong knowledge of testing concepts and factors that are significant in testing. In my opinion, you should go with peoplesoft performance testing, there are CMM level 3 companies which are working on peoplesoft applications and are offering jobs at higher level. You can find many options to start training for same.

Depends on your likes and dislikes. There's areas like network specialist. You can start as help desk support and move up most likely. If you like coding then you need to figure do you want to develop web apps, or mainframe type of code in COBOL or RPG/ILE. You can sometimes start here as a code tester / debugger.
If you like being creative then you could look into website design. There you may need to know C#, VB , Java, HTML5, CSS3 and others depending on the company or if you freelance or consult on your own. What area do you have your BA in?

There are a lot of good tutorials on-line and free tools to download to develop apps for Android and other platforms. I'm tinkering with a few for game design like Blender for creating game objects and Unity for the game mechanics. If you Google "creating Android apps" it's a good place to start.

Considering your reply i.e. "I have not done BA. I have graduation in IT." would you like to furnish that, how did you do IT (here IT means, assuming B.Sc-IT) while you are from Arts background !! Have you done from any distant learning university..... If you have done BA,but on which subject have you passed. Please clear all of these things, else people suggest you randomly and you will confuse in the same. Please try to understand my query and come back with more details.

First of all BA means- Business Analyst not Bachelor of Arts.
Secondly I have done Bachelor in Information technology recognised regular degree equivalent to Canada graduation so nothing to do with arts. You can read my query in order to understand it.

Sorry for my misunderstandings. Considering your comments, you have BA degree as well as Bachelor in IT degree also. "Can I start from Business Analyst profile along with software testing?" and yes you can go for that as you have both degrees. It is not so cleared that either you have any certificate/ degree in HR! But you have experience in HR. Right now, are you working or not that is also not disclosed here ! While thinking your better career, it is better to do a Certification on the same i.e. "Certified  software business analyst" which helps you to reach your goal, as you are inclined to IT industry. As your next Q, Java/ Sql related, please navigate here:

If you are not working now (also not cleared here), try to find the same related job, even the company is small. It helps to gain your knowledge and day by day you will understand in a better way.

If I were you...I would suggest you to go with something in terms of SAP. Almost all the fortune 500 giants use SAP for their business.
