For Windows 10, I'm not able to turn on file sharing. I tried advanced sharing options but it didn't work. When I enable it, it goes off immediately. How can I fix this?

As you tried advanced option, the steps are important for this issue. Please verify that the all steps are correct. Try open file explorer to navigate to the file/folder that wish to share. Right click on the file/folder & at the bottom of the menu that appears click properties. On the properties window, click the sharing tab. Now locate and click on the advanced sharing. At the top, tick the box to share this folder. If you want to be able to read/ write to this file/folder, then you need to click permissions to make these changes and add group/ single user to make it full access. You can also try sharing by homegroup in control panel.

Do you have authority to the file to change the sharing properties? If you do follow the steps listed by Subhendu Sen. If you still have issues come back with any new errors.
