Email skipping inbox

I set up a filter/label for just one of my contacts recently. Used it for a few months but then deleted it because I wanted to go back to just getting his mail in my inbox. Just realized I have 4 unread emails from him, all skipped my inbox and went to "all mail"! Why is this happening, does it have to do with having deleted the filter/label?

    Most probably there was a mistake happened when you have done the setup or change filter/ label. If this is an office environment, ask your email system administrator. If it is gmail (assuming a personal mail) then messages are skipping inbox, might be there was a misconfigured filter Or a setting on forwarding and pop/ imap.
