Is there an easy to use tool for me to check the security of my router?

I checked the logs on my home router and found port attack form Russia, China, Spain, Brazil etc on my home router. Is there an easy to use tool for me to check the security of my router to ward off these attacks, or is there a way I can make my IP 'invisible' so the perpetrators of these attacks cannot hit my IP address? Thanks for any help. 'Colin'

If you can, you can make your IP invisible. There are some measures that you can take to protect router. You can change password with more complex one/ check remote administration is disabled/check/test the firewall is configured properly while pay special attention to SSH/telnet. Not sure if the router offers guest networks, then turn it off and sharing also.

What model router and security are you using currently? Do you have any ports blocked?

Some of the good vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, Nexpose, etc. probably offer a free trial that you can use to scan yourself.
