Hi all,
I have made an excel sheet and in one column I have data (DB table column names). I want to see if duplicate data exists or not. If there is then rectify it. I am using Excel 2003. I also have searched around net but yet I didn't find any useful answer.
 Thanks,

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If you want to compare 2 coulumns (A & B) in the same row you can use this formula =EXACT(A1,B1)  ( put this in a separate column).

Then you can sort on this function column.

If the result is TRUE then it’s a duplicate and you can make your changes needed.

I did this with another formula giving me same result

    =COUNTIF(A2,A1).

First I sort all values and then apply this formula. It is 1 against duplicate values. I also tried your which gave same effect. Thanks
