I have a computer with 2 NICs each pulling an IP from a different DHCP server in order to access two different networks. The computer syncs with Retrospect on one server and only needs file access on the other. The problem is that periodically the computer cannot sync, leaving it unable to get to any of the files the user needs. Do I need to give each NIC a static IP, or would that not help?
