Is there a command/way of just getting the number of objects and total size of libraries other than selecting the *PRINT option? I wanted to dump the information to a file so I can query over it. I can dump the library names to a file, but I had to produce a listing as well so I can get the number of objects in the library and the total size of the library. I need to put into a spread sheet.

Have you tried the DSPLIB command? I'm not sure if you can send that to an OUTFILE as I don't have access to an I-Series at the moment.

The simplest way is to use DSPOBJD, specifying *allusr for the object and library, and output *outfile. You could then use Query to summarize by library and create a file you could download into a spreadsheet. You could also use Query to pull just a few fields, download the whole file, and summarize using a pivot table (if you're using Excel).
