DSPJOBLOG
Just to be curious, any number of commands which we executed in the command line are shown if we took dspjoblog. Actually from where the dspjoblog command retrieves those information and shows to us. I tried with wrkmsgq (my workstation and also my user profile). I found nothing but the information is being shown in dspjoblog. How is this happening?!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

A JOBLOG and a MSGQ queue are two different types of objects used for different purposes. A joblog is recording everything that is happening within that single job. A message queue is used to receive information for various jobs.

The joblog is for the interactive session. This may or may not be saved upon completion. The message queue shows error and completion messages.
