Connect your phone to windows 7 through a data cable (hope you have). The phone asks for Connect storage to pc, just tap on the message, and then OK. Open computer icon Now this phone shows as a driver letter in Computer icon on the desktop, or automatically open file explorer. Double click the drive, it shows several folders, locate the folder where you want to put the music Just copy the music file from your pc and paste it in that folder. Disconnect the phone from your pc, and now you can open that file(s). However, android does not allow to run all type of file format. In that case, you have to install additional software.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it and I never saw the messages. The more I kept trying I started getting a message that read my SD card may have been damaged.  A friend looked at my system and told me that I need a card reader.  Once I buy one that doesn't cost $1,000 I will try your suggestion again.    Thank You

Have you tried another SD card? IT may also be the card size is not compatible with the device. I have an old HP printer that lets you print pictures straight from the card. If I put one on my 32 or 64g SD cards in the printer it will not work, The 2 and 4g cards still do.
