I just upgraded to Windows 10 and I'm very excited! There's just one thing: Every day or so, I get this notification popup that says Get Office 365 (it's almost like an ad). I went into my setting and uninstalled it. But when I do updates, it returns. How can I disable it completely?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Where it says “search the web and windows” type “notifications”

At the top of the of the popup menu you should see something that says “Notications and action settings”

Click on that and from you can disable the annoying notications for Office 365 along survey requests and tips from microsoft.

You can also choose to uninstall the “Get Office 365” app (Settings > System > Apps, select Get Office 365, select uninstall).

Open the Start menu > Settings > System icon > Notifications & actions. Now scroll down in the list of notification settings. Under "Show notifications from these apps," there is a list of apps. Locate the "Get Office" app and slide it to Off/or toggle off. If you want to disable notifications from Desktop apps/News, repeat the same procedure.
