Whenever I reboot (or even) my Windows 10 machine, I want to only use a password-only login and not the fingerprint login capability. How can I disable that aspect? What's the process?

It is better to disable this feature from Windows services (services.msc). Keep in mind some system has the same feature in BIOS. In this scenario, you can invoke to BIOS after restart the system by pressing relevant Function key and from Advanced menu you can disable the feature (something like Fingerprint Reader).
