My malware detector notified me that a file has been flagged. It looks like it came from Google Chrome. Can I find out which site gave me that file so I can stay away from it? Thanks so much.

If several websites that you visited frequently, and you want to see their names/URLs, try this one, select the new tab icon, which is located to the right of the last tab. This will open a new tab. Now this opens to the most visited websites/page. From here you may identify the website that you wanted to stay away. Also you can see History to identify the same. It is better to set trusted websites in Chrome. Please link here for the procedure: https://experts.missouristate.edu/display/KB/How+to+Set+Trusted+Sites+in+Google+Chrome

Tough to say where it came from most of the time. It may have not been Chrome, because it's a browser that renders web page HTML, but from a link that was hosted on a web page you visited. What software are you using to detect malware? It might help us point to the correct log to help provide additional info.
