I'm setting up a new Domino 9 server but when I ping a host name from an Internet doc I created, it attempts to ping the IP address from the Internet doc but the domino server reports "Destination host unreachable". How do I fix that?

Several reasons might be there. Generally, destination host unreachable means, somehow communication is not established in between them or local system has no route to the desired destination. Check lan/ nic or other possible things. See for know-hows: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc940095.aspx

Thanks.  I'll check the link.  You may have guessed, I'm a software guy, not an Admin guy.  I'm struggling with the mechanics of TCPIP.
