This issue has been bugging me all week - my desktop computer has been connecting / disconnecting from my Wi-Fi at random times. All of the other devices are working fine (two phones and two tablets). I updated my wireless driver too but it's still happening. Do you think it's the distance from the router? The desktop is in a different room than the router. It happens a few times a day. Thanks!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I had the same issue with sporadic drop off. It could be interference with other devices or just a weak signal. You can either try moving the router to a more central location or look into buying a Wi-Fi signal booster to cover the dead/weak spots.

You mentioned this happened a few times a day. Earlier was the router in the same position. Was it in the different room? Is it possible to keep them in a same room? Also you did not mention what windows version is it, either windows 7 or 10 or other version? Have you updated recently the OS. As Microsoft offered free update from windows 7 to 10. Check if the update has done properly.
