Backup and restore
SQL Server 2005
Hello! Please tell me is it possible to restore the database if someone accidentally deleted it? I have an old backup but I want a new database to reanimate. Really the database completely is removed from a disk?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Can find
additional information here

During
removal of base its files physically are removed. There is enough that 8 KB
from these 20 Gb were rewritten that instead of the file of data there was a
porridge. The base itself is not physically deleted from the disk. If there
were no operations of record on this disk, possibly to restore. But if record
was, that is risk of that the DB file can be damaged because its clusters are
already marked as free and are available to record of other files. Anyway you
should use software. I can advise the checked utility of Recovery Toolbox for
SQL Server

Good luck!

If you don't have a recent backup, you are most likely going to need some recovery tool, not directly related to SQL Server, but to files in general.

There are companies that offer recovering services, which are experts on the task, so if the deleted database is important for you, you might consider spending some money to try to get it back.
