Delete characters in Microsoft Excel cell

Hi experts, Can anyone tell me how to delete certain / specific characters inside a Microsoft Excel cell? Basically - I have a name that's surrounded by brackets. I want to remove the brackets. How can I do that? Thanks!

a) Select the cells that you want to make the changes in

b) CTRL+H

c) In the “Find” space, put the first bracket in

d) in the “Replace” space, leave it completely blank, or put a space in if that is what you want.

e) click “replace all”

f) repeat steps c to e until you have made all of the replacements.

g) close the find/replace window.
