All day - I've been trying to debug JavaScript in Internet Explorer and I'm not sure what I should do here. I keep getting this 'unexpected identifier' error. Might be related to a plugin but I'm not sure. How can I take a closer look?

What are you using to develop your code? Visual Studios has a very good debugger that may help. Post your script and any extra info on your error.
