If you computer does not keep the correct date and time it may be the CMOS battery has died and needs replacing.  There are YouTube videos on how to do it. I I found one for a Dell 4500, can’t be much different for your model.

First doubt is laptop battery. Is there any notification about the battery that system provides? First make sure that the batter is OK.

Keep in mind if this laptop under warranty, it is better to contact Dell directly. Here is the link https://www.dell.com/support/home/in/en/indhs1/
