    Probably you are in a learning process. It is better to read your study books and gather knowledge. For your concepts, a trigger is a PL/SQL block structure which is fired when a DML statements like insert/ delete/ update is/are executed on a database table.     You must define elements that are referenced by the trigger and that are not otherwise globally (or potentially within the session) defined. Without seeing what your trigger does and possibly what DBMS it's declared on, we can't say what must be defined.
