Corruption in Access 2010 databases?

Hello - is anybody seeing frequent corruption problems in Access 2010? I work with 2 other developers, and we are seeing: tables losing indexes losing ALL the code modules (form & global) in accdb losing the accdb itself (not in the Recycle Bin, not in our user drives; just gone) That third one would seem to point to network problems; in this environment, we work on files that live in our My Documents folder, which are then sync'd with our user drives on the network. Thanks

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If other users are currently using the database file, you cannot perform a compact and repair operation. While you run the compact and repair operation, no one can use the database file.

  1. Start Access, but do not open a database.
  2. Point to Info, and then click Compact and Repair Database.
  3. In the Database to Compact From dialog box, navigate to and double-click the database that you want to compact and repair.

Have you tried going to the Microsoft forum and bringing this issue up there? If this problem is effecting more than just your area, someone may have found an answer already and it could be found there.
