Schema
We are modernizing our libraries into Schemas. Once my schema is created I copy all objects except of course journals and journal receivers into the schema. Is there a command other than CPYDUPOBJ that will also copy the object's owner along with it like it does for the authorities? Otherwise I will have to include a line of code that will change object owner after the duplication is done for the object.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Sorry, I meant CRTDUPOBJ in my post not CPYDUPOBJ.

I've always explicitly coded ownership and authority. I don't recall seeing a native method for it.

You might look into creating a custom command that first copies an object and then copies ownership/authority in a single operation.

MOVOBJ will take the object out of one library and put into another. I want to keep the origin as well. I just added an additional line of code that after the CRTDUPOBJ command completes it will do a CHGOBJOWN command so that should do it.
