Copy CSV file lines to new file using terminal

Would I be able to copy the first 10 lines of my CSV file into a new file using the terminal? I'm also using OS X too. Thanks!

This should do what you want:

Change the “-10” parameter as needed:

head -10 original_file.csv > destination_file.csv
