First of all from where did you get this file? You can ask the source/sender for some special kind of software/tool to open this type of files. Sometimes, it is not possible, to convert a file for its file integrity. However you did not mention which format you wanted to convert. Also if it is your office, you can ask your system administrator.

It's possible that you can't "convert a file" to .SFT format without writing (or paying someone to write) a custom program. If App-V can IMPORT various non-.SFT formats, intermediate conversions might help.

The file that I want to convert is. nog file that is created in a platform. Then, to use this file in an external program, it should be compiled to an .sft file.

It may not be convertible. The SFT file is used by Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) Sequencer, a program used for deploying and updating applications within a Windows Enterprise environment; contains data required to deploy and configure a virtual application; used by system administrators when configuring virtual desktops for users.

I can find no reference to NOG being a valid file type. What program or app created this file ?

Yes it was a valid file type. It can be created by the NooJ platform. You can find full documentary about it

Found the info on the NooJ platform and scan a few of them It seems it's an Arabic linguistics tool. More details on what you are trying to do might help us point you in a direction to get the file in a format you can use.
