Would there happen to be a way that I can convert a SVG file to Microsoft Word? Also, I need to make edits on the file too. Thank you.

A .SVG file is (usually) an image format, not suitable for Word at all. There wouldn't be any possible conversion... except simply opening the file as text like any text file. In that case, there is no conversion needed.

But Notepad would be a better choice than Word. You wouldn't want to accidentally let Word stick any control strings into the file.

Yes, as clark44kent says, like many image objects, a .SVG image can be embedded/inserted into a Word document. If that's what is needed, rather than "converting" to a Word document, his comment would be the normal method.

A SVG file is usually a Scaleable Vector Graphic image.  You can insert one into a Word doc but cannot edit it with a text editor. You will be able to scale it on the insert/paste to fit your document.
