To get information on control indicators, you need to go back to an earlier version of RPG, RPG/400. The manual is from 1994, so it's old information that isn't used much now.
Download the RPG/400 User's Guide (.PDF). See Chapter 3. RPG/400 Indicators, subtopic 'Control Level Indicators (L1-L9)'.
Detail definition and a complete example is in the manual.
Wow, flash back to my RPG I and RPG II days in the early 1980's.. Are they really still being used today? I can only assume it's legacy code. No one I know uses them today. If anyone does I'd like to hear a good reason
Hi philpl1jb,
Yes, these are some interview questions...you people have already been masters in AS400 i guess. So there is no question of you failing any more ...Cheers.
But if we post answers to interview questions, any future interview will be damaged, and that would damage relationships with employers for this site. Since the answers are already available in the Information Center, potential employees should be expected to know how to find the answers in the system documentation if they don't already know the answers. -- Tom
