I need to configure around 200 POP3 accounts in Outlook 2016, to keep a record of all the employees mail accounts, like an extra backup as our company runs on emails mostly. Is it possible? What are the best practices for maintaining such large accounts' data file? Also what kind of configuration should I look for such a PC which can handle this?

Microsoft Outlook 2013, Microsoft Outlook 2016

It is better to keep/ maintain one account with aliases instead of lots of accounts else you may get out of memory running error. For configuration of PC, must consider 4gb of ram with 1tb hdd with latest accessories.

What's the difference between aliases and separate accounts? I'm sorry I don't know much about aliases.
