We're trying to figure out how to add / configure an Exchange account programmatically. We've figured out how to do it manually: Settings -> Account -> Add Account -> Corporate and then fill in the fields and add the account. Does anyone know how to do this? Can we use Account Manager? Thanks!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Open the settings menu. Go to Settings and touch or select the accounts and sync option. Select the option to add an account. On the next screen, go to the option for more accounts and select the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync option. Complete the form with your Exchange server details. Touch next. Fill in your email and password information. The system may take a moment to configure its settings. Make sure the domain setup reads as domain\your username. Now you may customize your account settings. You will be asked to name the account and enter the name appearing on your outgoing emails. Touch the done button when you’re finished. Now your email will be sent to your Android phone.

You can connect to your Exchange-based email on an Android device very easily. If you configure your Exchange account on Android, you can access & sync your emails, calendar, and contacts. Click here for more..

I have found that some Android phones require the domain\username, while others will have them in seperate fields - seems to depend on the phone.

Each device is different.  As long as you can access the settings on the device and go to the mail program, the rest is pretty simple.
