Conditional Excel Formatting based on top values in a range

I am looking to create conditional formatting based on the top n values in a range. Values in c1 to l1 (10 values). I want the number of values to change so want to base it on the value in cell b1 rather than simply using the top 6 conditional formatting so that I do not need to keep changing the conditional formatting as I move the value from 1 to 2 to 3 top values etc. Can anyone help please?

Did you want to try copy formatting without change the original format. Or just reformat the same without change something. However, you can go here for more info: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Add-change-find-or-clear-conditional-formats-57e52c44-9f08-4cfb-8c4f-54af36ede8f9

I am trying to ensure i do not have to go and change each of the bits of conditional formatting when the number i want to show changes - to be precise i want to highlight the top 6 for a period and then 7 and then 8 depending on how many games played so want to be able to reference that number (which changes automatically) to automatically update the conditional formatting
