    This is a operation for commits and rollback while the commitment definition is appropriate for a certain commit/rollback. It helps to make sure the integrity. It provides ability to ensure that a set of related changes across one/more tables in a database are not permanently applied until this program actually commits. However, it is rarely used concept.     Commitment control is essentially the same in AS/400s as in every other database system. See the documentation for a discussion of what it is.

    Also, can you please create question titles that clearly relate to the question? Multiple questions titled simply "AS/400" are unhelpful to members. There's no way to know if the content is familiar.
