I clicked on a spam email link and was taken to an adult website. It says I already have an account. I have not signed up for an account. Can clicking on a spam email link to view a profile sign you up for an account?

Most likely no. They are preying on your skills and want you to think an account was set up. This is one of the danger of clicking on emails from strangers. I would suggest running a good anti virus program immediately to make sure there was no spyware/malware loaded besides the routing to the web page.

No, basically this is their trick to luring you and after that they will success to make an account of your name. Have you gotten any registration related information recently of any website? Don't trust them and simply delete the mail.

Anything is possible with software (and clicking links). If it's not an account from your younger days, it's likely just a means to try to trick people into clicking around on the site even more. Be careful out there!
