My Adobe Acrobat's clipboard is full of stuff that I need to clear. But I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it. Obviously, when I click on Ctrl + C, the image is copied so it's on the clipboard but how can I clear it off?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

CTRL + X should CUT it for pasting and remove it from the clipboard.

In general, Adobe uses the standard windows clipboard. Only one item is contained on the clipboard, that might be the last one copied. The clipboard is erased when windows is rebooted/ restarted. Nothing is carried over to later windows sessions.

Moreover, you can uninstall the Adobe Acrobat Reader first then again reinstall the same with latest version. In this way this can help you.
