So I just noticed that there's no space on my hard disk. My C Drive is completely full. I think there's under 1 GB left for me. My whole laptop has become very slow. How should I go about cleaning this out to make space? Any help would be appreciated.

How large is your C drive?  One thing you can do is remove the temporary internet files.

Open My Computer.

Right-click the system drive, and then select Properties.
On the General tab, click Disk Cleanup.
Scroll down in the Files To Delete list, and then select Temporary Files.

sometimes this will get back a good portion.

Then you may want to remove some programs or games you may not have used or played in a log time. Some of these can take up a few gig of space each.

Lastly go to your file explore and open your C drive and sort it by size. This will show where mos of you disk is being used. If there is no size listed, like in a folder, double click the folder name or right click the folder to see the total size of disk being used by that folder.

You can delete/erase unnecessary programs/software that are no longer used. Next type as disk cleanup in search box, and click the icon that appears. It asks for drive name, select C: and after selecting that drive, it will clean the drive like deleting temporary files and other junk files.

Sometimes, leftover files reside in the system after removing any program/software. In that case, you may remove them manually (generally under User profile) or taking help from a 3rd party tool which may find free on the net.

    Run Directory Report
It will help you find the huge data files you forgot about

You can start by checking to see if you need to empty your recycle bin. This might get you some space back to start doing some of the other suggestions mentioned.

As you asked for whole laptop is slow now, you can see what programs are running on your background. Either you open Services.msc or msconfig while for quick fix up msconfig is more helpful. From here you can disable/deselect some programs that are no longer required and restart the laptop to see if it helps.
